Good News – One Dose of Swine Flu (Influenza A, H1N1) Vaccine Works

Influenza A (H1N1) VaccineSwine Flu (Influenza A, H1N1) Vaccine

I am so happy to share with you that a good news from Australian / U.S. researchers said that once dose of the new Swine Flu (Influenza A, H1N1) vaccine looks strong enough to protect adults and can spark protection within 10 days of the shot.

This is really a good news for our world’s Influenza A H1N1 flu fight. It really help that people not need to line up for influenza vaccinations three times, and they just need to take two times – one for the regular winter flu, and another one to be inoculated against swine flu when the H1N1 vaccine ready.

The scientists mentioned that people for all ages would need two shots about a month apart, as due to the new H1N1 strain is so genetically different from normally circulating flue strains. Another first hint from Chinese manufactures that one dose could be enough, but is depend on the different manufactures with different formulations of the vaccine, so need to gather more evidence by scientists.

One of the U.S vaccine supplier (CSL) said that the side effects will be similar to the regular flu vaccine, so we not need to surprise that Influence A vaccine has side effects like headache, sore arm or redness.

Now we know that the best is take the winter flu vaccine first, then follow by H1N1 vaccine after one month. The H1N1 vaccines may ready by mid-October this year, so you may need to visit your doctor soon to get the first winter flue shot before take H1N1 vaccine.
