Petrol RON 95 vs 97 Price is Cheaper but Under Power for Most of the Cars

A lot of people already tried to use the Petrol RON 95 since Malaysia implemented it from 1st of September 2009, but after compare the Petrol RON 95 vs 97, the price is cheaper than RON 97, but a lot of cars performance is under power. In another word, you may get the same price vs mileage if you are using the RON 95 now versus you used the RON 97 previously.

Existing price for Petrol RON below:-
RON 95 = RM1.80/litre
RON 97 = RM2.05/litre

RON = Research Octane Number. RON is a rating number and a way to rate the petrol in a test engine with condition, then get the rating number after compare the results for mixtures of iso-octane & n-heptane. If you see the higher RON number, mean the petrol have higher resistance toward pre-ignition or detonation. Most of the F1 racing cars or Airplane are using the RON 100 or greater RON / MON / AKI.

So, it means that
RON 95 = MON 85-86 = AKI 90-91

Today, I had lunch with my friends and we talked about this Petrol RON 95. All of us already tried the RON 95, but our conclusion is the price for RON 95 is cheaper, but we all agreed the car performance really underpowered. They also share the experience from his / her friends or family, and so far most of them not really like the RON 95. If you are using below car models, then you may need to monitor it as most of the people (friends or friend of friends) complain the car is under power after use the RON 95. If you compare the price (full tank / mileage) for RON 95 vs RON 97  after few tries and the result is not much different, then propose you to use back the RON 97, as is good for your car engine for long run and better performance.

I think this is the strategies from Petrol companies and government, as if government try to control them not to increase the petrol price, then I believe this is another way to help the Petrol companies. We use it, we pay it, they gain it! :)

6.4兆禮券怎賠？HOLA買單恐倒店 (64 Hundred Million Vouchers? HOLA Possible Bankrupt)

 

自稱「遭駭客入侵」的HOLA和樂家居館，似乎跟2次標錯價的戴爾電腦，成了難兄難弟。兩家業者都在「假日出包」，戴爾最後拿產品全年打8折，跟消費者和解，HOLA這回面對「64億張」千元禮券的不正常交易，如果真要全賠，必須掏出6.4兆，怕出清資產都不夠賠。

假日客潮照樣賣力消費，HOLA自稱網路不正常交易的64億千元禮券，是被駭客攻擊！巧就巧在，HOLA網站週日凌晨出包，戴爾官網2次標錯價，發生在週五晚上跟週六，莫非假日網管有漏洞？出了包，代價可不小，戴爾當初想發折價券，消保官確認定「沒誠意」，開罰百萬，最後戴爾拿全年產品打8折和解，如果HOLA循戴爾模式賠，很可能開放線上產品8折，或賠面額最低的100元電子商品券，萬筆訂單，可能認賠100萬消災，畢竟，資本額4.2億的HOLA，如果全賠，恐怕會倒店，11家店賠光光，也付不出6.4兆。

消基會認為，如果業者HOLA最後沒辦法舉證自己是受害者，就必須對下單者負責。消基會董事長謝天仁：「像戴爾這個事件裡面，不只人家會認為，用這個(標錯價)事件在炒作，甚至於有人在懷疑，用這樣的方式得到消費者資料，來達到它促銷的相關目的。」 消基會提醒，消費者如果只下1張單、買1張HOLA禮券，被保障的機會相對變高，如果惡意大量下單，想利用網站疏漏獲利，恐怕只會等到一場空。

Another case happen again after Dell, that HOLA website released 64 hundred million electronic vouchers (thousand dollar) for their customers. They said that possible attached by Hacker, but don’t have any prove yet. Dell has to discount 20% for those products for whole year due to the wrong pricing listed in the Internet, so this time we are not sure how HOLA to handle it. If HOLA need to pay all the vouchers, then HOLA might bankrupt as the total asset of HOLA not enough to pay 6.4 trillion dollar (Unihan Definition for Taiwan). WOW!

If HOLA not able to prove that is not their mistake, then they have to provide a solution for their customers. Even they follow the Dell method to provide 20% discount, or give the minimum voucher or coupon (hundred dollar), then with 11 x HOLA shops still not able to pay to their customers with 64 hundred million vouchers.

If HOLA bankrupt, then it will impact to thousand workers and their suppliers seriously, especially during slow economic market. Oh man!

This is show that we really need to be careful if doing the Internet online business, and this is one the serious example from Dell and HOLA. The leak of Internet security will cause our business loss million of dollar, or even in worse situation then may ‘close shop’. So, IT play a very important role in this modern day, and without IT with the latest technologies and strategies, then you will not able to compete with your competitors. Not sure Insurance can cover or not? Possible is a good opportunity for Insurance company!

I am so surprise that the computer technician in Hong Kong just in jailed for 8 1/2 months because stolen Edison Chen’s personal photos from his laptop and leaked out to Internet for everyone to see it.

I believe a lot of people didn’t trust what Edison Chen mentioned in the most of the interview, but this is his life and he has the right to protect himself, and if not how to survive in next few ten years.

"I believed I was a victim. I believed that I was hurt by this a lot…"

Actually, I have read through many news related to Edison Chen and the actresses involved for more than 1,300 Edison Chen’s personal photos been published in the Internet before, and now you still can find it from some of the websites or pirate VCD / DVD in the market.

I don’t know this Hong Kong computer technician really think it seriously before copy other people personal private data. Even the photo didn’t leak out and keep for his own use, but this is not right too and what if accidently take by someone. See right now, is not only put yourself into jail and it destroy Edison Chen and few other actresses personal life. You only in jailed for 8 1/2 months, but how about them… WHOLE LIFE! MAN!

How they talk to his / her child when they grow up and know about this?  How his / her child’s friend will think of them? If this is happen to you, then how you going to manage it?

A 20-year-old woman suffering from Influenza A(H1N1) died on Tuesday, the fourth person to die in Malaysia due to the virus, while more schools and campuses were closed when students exhibited flu-like symptoms.

In TANJUNG MALIM in Perak, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris has been closed for seven days starting Wednesday after an unconfirmed number of students showed flu-like symptoms.

State Health Committee chairman Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said the concerned students had been sent to the Tanjung Malim Hospital for a check-up.

Those who have exhibited symptoms have been quarantined on campus, while thousands of other students have been sent home.

In GEORGE TOWN, PENANG, three schools and a university campus were also affected.

Penang Health, Welfare, Caring Society and Environment Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh confirmed that the MRSM Kepala Batas and two classes at SK Kepala Batas were closed, starting Tuesday, for a week.

“The other two are the Universiti Sains Malaysia engineering campus near Nibong Tebal and Jit Sin A Primary School in Bukit Mertajam which are closed starting today (July 29) for a week,” he said Wednesday.

My opinion:-

Please stay at home rather than go out to shopping center or market, especially your children. If your children or family member is from the above schools or university, then your whole family please don’t go out for a week and try to monitor all the family member’s health. Unless you need to get something where you can’t call and get your relative or friends help to send to you, then please wear mask as minimum when you out.

PUTRAJAYA: As the death toll from Influenza A (H1N1) rose to 38, the Government green-lighted the use of rapid test kits for private clinics and hospitals to conduct flu checks on the public.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said private healthcare providers can use these kits to help cope with the large number of patients wanting to be checked, and for faster detection and containment of the pandemic.

Google Chrome OS ready for Netbooks by 2010

I am so excited to know that Google Chrome team is developing the next generation open source OS (Operating System) called Google Chrome OS for small Netbooks to normal size of Computer Notebooks or Desktop systems, and target to be ready by year 2010. Yeah!

How good is the Google Chrome OS?

I am using the Google Chrome Browser 2 for sometime, and compare to other Internet browsers, the Google Chrome Browser 2 performance is fast and design is simple and user friendly. I think the mission for the Google Chrome OS is quite similar to Google Chrome Browser 2. The key aspects from Google Chrome OS is the speed, simplicity and security.

Speed – Fast to launch the applications and access the Internet web and email within few seconds.

Simplicity – User friendly without too many buttons or icons, and with few clicks or touches (less steps) to perform any functions.

Security – Minimize the attack by computer Viruses, Trojan Horse, Malware. It will reduce the frequency on OS security update to fix the bug (mean OS not stable).

What is the Google Chrome OS platform?

Open Source OS always related to Linux kernel, then Google Chrome OS architecture is planned to run a windowing system on top of Linux kernel. Google Chrome OS will able to support the x86 chipset and even the ARM chips, and Google team will work with multiple OEMs to launch the new Netbooks with Google Chrome OS by year 2010.

What is the company benefits to support the Google Chrome OS?

Based on the 8th July 2009 updated by Sundar Pichai, VP Product Management and Linus Upson, Engineering Director, the existing OEMs or technology companies partners are Hewlett-Packard, Acer, Lenovo, ASUS, Toshiba, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Freescale and Adobe. They are working with Google team to develop and build the Google Chrome OS into their mini Netbooks or normal computer systems with useful applications plug-in to Google Chrome OS. The major benefit to us is the price of the Netbooks will be much cheaper if compare to use the Microsoft Windows as Netbook OS. The benefits for the Google Chrome partners are distributed their technology together with Google Chrome OS to unlimited computer users with lowest cost.

Lets say you see the Netbooks promotions from Dell and Acer with the same hardware specification, but the price is different more than $100 for Operating System with plug-in available user needed features, then I believe more than 70% of people will buy the cheaper Netbooks. By year 2010, who ever ship out the 1st Netbook with Google Chrome OS, then that computer company will be the ONE to gain the first Google Chrome OS market share. Same as the Apple company delivered the new technology like Apple iPod!

Is it possible the Google Chrome OS replace the Microsoft Windows?

This is too early to ask about this question, as million of computer systems are using the Microsoft Windows. One of the important note is people already get used on the Microsoft applications (i.e Microsoft Offices), and most of the famous applications or computer games are designed to run on top of Microsoft Windows. I think the Google Chrome OS may take over more than 10% market share in next 3 years if it is really meet our expectation (Speed, Simplicity, Security) and with next generation of Netbooks trend.

My friend told me to create the high eCPM blog with the top paying adsense keywords, so that we can earn more money when Internet users click on high paying Google Adsense ads. Then I spent sometime and read through many Internet related to top adsense keywords blog and found that is not what we think that easily.

 

My friend has the right point too, Adsense publishers will try to bid and adjust the keyword PPC (pay-per-click) price higher in order to list in the top page and let people know their advertisement to attract more traffic to their website. In other word, we will get more money for those top paying adsense keywords.

 

There are many sites has the price for the adsense keywords by search for ‘top paying adsense keywords’. I don’t believe all the adsense keywords sites has update their prices daily and even it is still valid for today adsense market or not. You can see most of the adsense keyword sites copy each other for the keywords, and start confuse you that I want to write all these topics so that my blog’s every page has eCPM, and possible is the high pay eCPM too. I feel that eCPM is more on useful own content rather than write all the keywords topics as your blog or copy each other.

 

You will ask why is not easy to create top pay adsense keyword blog and lets people click it then earn a lot of money? I tell you, you can write the blog for those top keyword topic, but how many people will search on that topic or even click on it. Example this adsense keyword ‘austin dwi attorney’ has more than $40 PPC.

A log of website will ask us to write the topics on lowest to mid range of adsense keywords, as based on the statistic show that more people click on average range keywords advertisement rather than top keywords. I can suggest that you can use the free Google AdWords Keyword Tool to find which keyword searched by Internet people usually.

 

May be I haven’t find the secret of adsense keyword yet, but I will keep going to find the power of adsense is it can make me rich. :)

PETALING JAYA: More than 75% of respondents in an SMS poll conducted by The Star are against the idea of granting maids a day off every week.

Yesterday’s poll, which asked if maids should be given one rest day a week, drew a total of 769 respondents over 11 hours.

About 76.1% or 585 respondents said “no,” while 23.9% or 184 respondents said “yes.”

The Human Resources Ministry proposed the move earlier this week in an effort to curb abuse of foreign domestic maids.

The proposal has drawn mixed response, with civil society groups lauding it and others – mainly employers of maids – against it.

The ministry has also welcomed views from all parties on the proposed move.

My Opinion:-

Do the ministry think that this would help?
A lot of thoughts pop out from my mind.
Oh by the way i don't have a maid.

It just got me thinking that we as a human, to get along together is a very difficult task.
It's just the same as you go to work and you can't get along with some of your colleagues or boss.

Or it might be that you get married then after half year or maybe 3 or 4 years down the road then you found out that you can't get along with your partner. Then you quarrel and divorce.

Or it might be like after you are married then you stay with your in-laws then there is some problems with your MIL or FIL then quarrel. Then a lot of things might happen. Move out, divorce or still stay together and still quarrel until who knows when.

So it's the same here with maids. The only different is that you pay the maid to work for you and you feel that I'm the BOSS and do as what i said.

On the other hand. Some bosses are good to the maid and those maid are getting bolder and bolder then problem will arise.

So all this comes down to your luck to get a good maid and also need hard work from both parties to communicate and work out a solution.

When two people form different background or different environment get together there will sure have different views, thoughts, diet, preference to things. There will sure be a challenge for someone to take a maid in the house as it needs time and individual to adjust to that new person in their daily life.

This apply every aspect of our life. You got a new partner then you have to accept his good and bad points. You get married then you have to accept your MIL and FIL good and bad points, even snoring...
This is easier said than done. hahaha.........

So if one party cannot accept or cannot be patient with the other then there will surely be a problem.

So in my opinion no matter you give the maid day off or not it won't help at all.
