Boost to High Speed DSL Broadband
If you are using the cable DSL broadband for the high speed internet service, and most of the time the internet speed is not up to your expectation. Here is a VERY simple way to boost your DSL broadband close to max internet speed based on your DSL broadband internet speed subscription with your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
1. Copy below registry command to the Notepad, then save it as "boost.reg" filename. Remark: The file extenstion is (*.reg)
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters]
"GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize"=dword:0000ffff
2. Right click the file then Merge it and restart your computer.
If u want to test your speed before and after the hack, goto Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test for a free test of speed.
Note: Some people confuse "Servic es" and change it to "Services". DON'T do this because it makes the hack not work!!!
Rollback:-
If you want to undo this registry, then you can use the below registry command, and follow the above steps. But you need to change the filename to 'unboost.reg' then only merge it.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters]"GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize"=dword:00007fff
Note: This is for the cable DSL Broadband only and not for the slow dial-up!!!
