Most of the people start cut down their electric bill to save money since the oil price up to USD 100 per barrel or more. Even today the oil price is dropping, but the cost of the electric power still high, and indirectly charge back to us.

Everyone know that the economic slow down and consider is our crises now a day. If we must save money whenever and wherever we can, as you may need it for emergency used.

Unplug everything when it is not in use. You can try this and you will be surprised with your next month’s electric bill.

Does it really effective to cut down electric bill?

In May 2008, Rhonda Lyn's energy bill was $258.00, but after she unplugging all her appliances, then her electric bill went down to $60.42. She save the money more than $200!

How you need to work and cut down electric bill?

Computer notebooks, printers, TV sets, DVD players, cable modem, sound systems are used as between 10 ~ 50 watts, and it works out to 6 ~ 30 kilowatt-hours a month if you didn’t unplug it for 20 days even already switched off. All of these are electronic devices will consume the electric power while it remain switched off or in standby mode. So, if you left your electric appliances switched off without unplugged, then you may need to play more than $15 per month for something you are not even using it that time.
